Four new Class C motorhomes and a single Class B van offer couples and families more agile adventures, all while bearing the iconic Eddie Bauer name and aesthetic. Easy to drive and park, here are five great options for travelers looking to enjoy the convenience of an independent motorized RV.
In recent years, Camping World and Eddie Bauer have partnered with towable manufacturers to produce private-label travel trailers and fifth wheel options. Heartland continues to manufacture uniquely luxurious and affordable Eddie Bauer towables. But a new private label partnership with Thor brings the style and interior design of the Eddie Bauer brand to these nimble motorhomes, which are now available exclusively at Camping World.
We will explore the unique qualities of these five Thor Eddie Bauer motorhomes to help you choose which you want to tour in person. Let’s start with the four Class C motorhomes.

Eddie Bauer Class C Floorplans
While specs like hitch weight rating are standard across the entire Thor Eddie Bauer Class C lineup, let’s examine the key differences between these floorplans.
All Eddie Bauer Class C floorplans can sleep at least four adults, according to Thor — though we suspect the larger units can sleep five or six. The primary variation between these units is their length. The three largest floorplans feature a slide-out in the living area, making for a more comfortable camping setup. The bedrooms of the 22EB and 26EB have full-size primary beds instead of queens, which the longer models offer.
Eddie Bauer 22EB
- Fresh Tank: 40 gallons
- Gray Tank: 37 gallons
- Black Tank: 24 gallons
- Water Heater: Tankless
Small size is a big benefit across these Class C RVs. The Eddie Bauer 22EB, the shortest model (and only layout without a slide-out), is even easier to park, drive, and maneuver in close campgrounds. The question is: How does this affect the interior? While space is more compact, the 76” dream dinette opens the living area and transforms it into a sleeping spot for your fourth camper with spacious storage in the pull-out drawers.
The 22EB offers 50 cubic feet of exterior storage, much of it in the lighted MEGA-Storage compartment. This oversized locker is great for camping gear, extra toys, or overflow luggage storage when traveling with all four guests. The 22EB also features a rear wall-mounted bike or kayak rack that is especially rare for RVs. The rack holds a maximum of 132 pounds.
Eddie Bauer 26EB
- Fresh Tank: 40 gallons
- Gray Tank: 41 gallons
- Black Tank: 37 gallons
- Water Heater: Tankless
At almost four feet longer than the 22EB, the Eddie Bauer 26EB also adds a slide-out that creates a larger living area with a jackknife sofa instead of the 22EB’s dream dinette. The removable pedestal table gives you a comfortable dining space but allows you to convert the space for other uses when you’re not eating. (i.e., morning stretching, rainy day board games, etc.) . Enjoy the flip-up countertop when you need extra space for meal prep, and we also love the pull-out pantry for storing spices or canned goods.
An important addition to the 26EB is a rear access door that allows you to enter and exit the rear bedroom when the side-hinged bed is folded up. This creates a huge space to store outdoor items like bikes or kayaks when the bed is folded up or store things beneath the bed when folded down. There is a metal connection plate mounted on the wall to tie down the bulkier equipment, as well as a rug that protects your floor. This will be a favorite feature for those who want to get the most out of every space, including the bedroom.
Eddie Bauer 28EB
- Fresh Tank: 40 gallons
- Gray Tank: 40 gallons
- Black Tank: 26 gallons
- Water Heater: Tankless
The Eddie Bauer 28EB provides the added privacy you won’t get in their smaller models. Unique to the previous floorplans, the 28EB’s primary bedroom takes up the entire rear of the motorhome, giving you closed-door privacy while moving the bathroom forward. While still rated for four passengers, the combination of the dream dinette, jackknife sofa, and cabover bunk easily accommodates three additional passengers on top of those sleeping in the queen bed.
The slide-out is longer than the 26EB, allowing for a larger kitchen with a diagonal sink, countertop, and plenty of cabinet storage. With the additional front living space, everyone has a comfortable seat for lounging or dining. Plus, this model features a 39” Smart TV above the dream dinette (and across from the sofa) for your viewing pleasure.
Eddie Bauer 31EB
- Fresh Tank: 40 gallons
- Gray Tank: 30 gallons
- Black Tank: 25 gallons
- Water Heater: Tankless
The extra footage in the Eddie Bauer 31EB allowed designers to pair the dinette and jackknife sofa in an elongated slide-out, expanding the kitchen space on the camp side. In addition, separating the shower and the toilet creates a more comfortable and spacious mid-ship bathroom.
Like the 28EB, the 31EB features a north-south queen bed with dual closet space on either side and TV prep on the wall. While an almost 33-foot RV doesn’t offer some of the same maneuverability as the shorter Class C RVs in this lineup, the 31EB makes up for it with interior comfort and space management, with a whopping 107 cubic feet of exterior storage.
Eddie Bauer Class C Features
The Eddie Bauer RVs’ floorplans are somewhat standard, but the added features and details make these campers stand out. New touches include Eddie Bauer branding and color schemes, accessories like bike racks, and tasteful additions like larger cargo storage and cabover improvements. Let’s look at the most notable features you’ll see across Thor’s Class C Eddie Bauer motorhomes.
“MEGA-Storage” Compartments
The large exterior “MEGA-Storage” basement compartments are super purposeful for anyone taking these Class C campers on significant adventures. They are easy to access and have plenty of space. The interior lighting matters, too – especially when accessing at night. This space is large enough for your RV essentials, camping gear, and even a spare tire should you want to use it for an added roadworthiness security measure.
Here’s the breakdown for each floorplan:
Model | Exterior Storage |
22EB | 50 cu ft |
26EB | 37 cu ft |
28EB | 104 cu ft |
31EB | 107 cu ft |
Not-Your-Everyday Cabover Bunks
My favorite feature on any Class C RV is the cabover bunk, but you don’t have to love cabovers to appreciate the added details on the Eddie Bauers. For example, the flatscreen TV on a swivel arm (N/A 28EB) allows for dining-room viewing for the group or your personal cabover bunk movie spot. Further, each bunk features a footlocker to store phone chargers and bedtime accessories. When opened, these footlockers offer cupholders, too.
Eddie Bauer Design
Natural wood, champagne bronze hardware, and Eddie Bauer-green paint detailing are the signature on all Eddie Bauer RVs. The all-white upper cabinets with the champagne bronze hardware are an excellent addition. It’s hard to miss the frosted glass Eddie Bauer nameplate featuring the company’s new rebranded logo, too.
Acessories & Add-Ons
I’m partial to the 22EB’s rear wall-mounted bike/kayak rack, which only appears on this model. But each Class C includes noteworthy accessories and add-ons. The other three models are equipped with rooftop ladders, and the larger 28EB and 31EB also include a portable table in the MEGA Storage compartment that stores on the floor, perfect for an outdoor tabletop whenever you need it.
All Eddie Bauer Class C RVs are also equipped with a 4000-watt gas generator, which allows you to be self-sufficient when not hooked up to campground power. These campers also come with a 12-volt auxiliary house battery and a battery tray to include four additional batteries.
Eddie Bauer Class B Van
Built on a Mercedes-Benz all-wheel-drive chassis with a 144” wheelbase, the Thor Eddie Bauer 19EB is a compact, sporty Class B camper van for adventurers looking for better maneuverability and the ease of parking just about anywhere. The AWD and factory-standard off-road tires give the 19EB an edge when navigating rougher roads in more remote parks and campgrounds.
Below are the 19EB’s specs:
Chassis | Length | Height | Dry Weight | GVWR | CCC | Wheel Base |
Mercedes Sprinter 2500 | 19’8” | 10’6” | 7,200 | 9,050 | 950 | 144” |
Eddie Bauer 19EB Floorplan
- Fresh Tank: 22 gallons
- Gray Tank: 20 gallons
- Black Tank: 4.75 gallons
- Water Heater: 2.64-gallon Aqua Hot system
The Eddie Bauer 19EB has a shorter 144” wheelbase, so you won’t have as much interior room at your discretion. But what you lose, you earn in maneuverability. At a glance, this is a standard floorplan for this size camper. However, the 19EB has a few tricks up its sleeve. Check out the drop-down prep table supported with aircraft wire when the side door opens. While not technically an outdoor kitchen, it moves meal prep to free up room inside – a creative design feature.
But the 19EB’s most unique floorplan element is the rear bed, which folds up to convert the area to storage space for bikes, kayaks, snowboards, and other bulky equipment. To set up the bed, simply extend the folding frame from its wall mounts, drop the three cushions, and enjoy an elevated sleeping space with plenty of storage underneath. This is also where your lithium battery and 3000-watt Pure Sine Inverter live, easily accessible by removing the convenient magnetic access panels.
Eddie Bauer 19EB Features
A shorter, spry camper van requires thoughtful, innovative features to account for the smaller space. The 19EB already has a dog in this fight with the fold-down bed and large rear storage area. Let’s highlight other elements that make camping and driving easier with the 19EB.
Off-Road Features
While you shouldn’t plan on rock crawling, the lifted frame and knobby off-road tires set a precedent on the 19EB: Adventurers can take it off the beaten path to access more remote campgrounds, bike trails, boat ramps, and other destinations with greater confidence. I’d call them off-ish road capabilities, where you get just enough of a bug-out vehicle to have fun.
Power-Up with Solar & Lithium
As the 19EB provides select off-road capabilities, the same might be said of its boondocking credentials. It features a solar charge controller and a 200-watt solar panel to provide independent power in addition to the Re(Li)able Power Pack Electrical System. This way, you don’t have to deal with the noise and weight of a generator.
An Illuminating Spotlight
The front-mounted spotlight alleviates visibility issues when arriving at a backcountry campsite after dark. From road navigation to surveying a site to knowing exactly how you want to park for a level sleeping experience, this add-on is one that many boondockers DIY themselves, but Thor already gave you the additional light you need.
Drawer-Ready Portable Hot Plate
Don’t be caught off-guard: The Eddie Bauer 19EB does not include a built-in stovetop. But it offers a portable hot plate that easily stores in a drawer beneath the countertop, ready to quickly remove or store as needed. With an RV of this size, I like the flexible approaches that require quick manual setup, and this cooktop and the drop-down prep station make setup for meal-making more convenient.
Tech & Entertainment Enhancements
Several tech features make life on the road easier with the 19EB, starting with the front touchscreen console, which controls your media and navigation.
The 24” Smart TV mounts above the bench seats and swivels to face the bedroom. At the entrance, you have a touchscreen Firefly control system, which allows you to operate your tank heater, awning, lighting, and all other onboard systems from a single command center. Finally, the 19EB comes with a Winegard Connect 2.0 antenna for improved 4G Wi-Fi.
These features and many more make the 19EB a fun adventure vehicle ready for all sorts of applications. It also ensures a comfortable, enjoyable home base wherever you travel.
