One of the most exciting developments in the 2025 RV model year has been introducing Keystone RV’s Coleman RV brand. Reenvisioned, redesigned, and reinvigorated—all while keeping the same attractive price point—we were excited to see a more fully-fledged look at some of these individual models while at Hershey, where many of these RVs appeared for the first time.

We gave you an early look at the first 2025 Keystone Coleman travel trailers back in July, and we rumored a destination trailer at that time. Now, we have an expanded look at the three Coleman travel trailer lineups—Coleman, Coleman Lantern, and Coleman Legacy—and the Homestead destination trailer line debuting at the American’s Largest RV Show with models Estate and Nova. So, let’s explore this all-new lineup, the unique features and floorplans from each line of travel trailers, and what RVers these appeal to most.

What’s New About the Keystone Coleman Lineup?

Keystone has included intentional, feature-rich designs that aim to provide a level of comfortable camping that exceeds what we’ve seen before from these segments and price points. They kept and improved a few of the most popular Coleman floorplans, but we’re also seeing brand-new models across all three of their primary lines, built from the ground up. Here are some of the design choices and improvements that informed those new models.

Coleman

17B Interior

How do you improve upon one of the most popular RVs in the industry? By responding to feedback with deliberate improvements in quality and livability while adding new features—all without changing the price. When you walk into the new 17B and 17R models, the height alone is a quick indication that this is a different model from previous years. Step into the shower, especially if you’re a taller person, and it’s a different experience than what you may be used to from this segment of RVs. Here’s a bit of what you can expect from the Coleman lineup:

  • Taller ceilings at 6’6”
  • Included 20,000 BTU furnace
  • Friction-hinge entry doors
  • Full pass through storage
  • Tankless Water Heater
  • Increased storage

Lantern and Legacy

For several of the new Lantern and Legacy models, Keystone started with some non-negotiables that informed the rest of the design. From residential-sized refrigerators to bigger beds and showers—these types of improvements led to higher ceiling heights and more efficient layouts. Here are some notable improvements you’ll see in Lantern and Legacy travel trailers:

  • 16 cubic foot refrigerator
  • Solid surface countertops
  •  82” ceiling height
  • 70”x80” beds
  • 30”x40” shower
  • 50”-65” televisions
  • Elongated residential-style porcelain toilet

What’s the Same?

While Keystone has obviously made big moves in developing the Coleman brand, they were also sure not to lose some of the characteristics RVers love about Coleman. Namely, the price and the towability. Coleman’s are known for being affordable and easy to tow, ideal for those buying their first RV, and that’s what to expect from the 2025s.

Towability

Keystone aggressively reduced the overall weight and length across the three primary travel trailer lines without compromising comfortability. Many of these camper options are half-ton and SUV-towable, even in the Legacy lineup. Choose from single- and tandem-axle options, with many falling into the category of travel trailers under 5,000 pounds or not far past that range. One thing is for sure: Keystone has made every effort to make these towable and able to fit in many campgrounds.

Price

Keystone has done its homework to improve and elevate each model while remaining highly competitive on price. The features have improved, but the price has remained exactly the same. Look at the 17B and 17R as examples. These maintained their original platform but received improvements in quality, build, and features while the cost wasn’t affected.

Coleman

The goal for the Coleman line was to offer easily towable and feature-rich entry-level travel trailers at an unparalleled price point. While they improved and retained the 17B and 17R models, they expanded this lineup to include four additional models that offer the sleeping capacity you’d want for a family with the essential creature comforts of home. Check out the specs of the full lineup below, as well as a few of our favorite floorplans from Hershey.

Coleman 17B

Favorite Feature: Shower Ceiling Height

Here it is, the longstanding favorite from the Coleman line: The 17B is an affordable, compact, family-friendly towable that offers you the quintessential RV camping experience with all of the basic comforts you could ask for. Except the 2025 17B may surpass your expectations.

From an amenity perspective, we love the addition of the tankless water heater, which provides your family with virtually limitless hot water. With that worry covered, you’ve already set the tone for the rest of the trip: everyone is a lot happier when they can grab a hot shower. In addition to the hot water, they’ll appreciate the added headroom in the shower, made possible by the 17B’s new 78-inch interior height. This is a huge addition and one you notice right away upon entry.

While this is a straightforward camper, that’s part of the appeal. Keystone has done the work to make the details matter. For example, you’ll enjoy a quality kitchen with solid wood drawers, easily accessible cabinet storage, a high-rise faucet, and a 3.3 cubic foot bracketed refrigerator with storage above.

One small yet notable improvement on the exterior of all Coleman’s—including the 17B—is the tow plug and chain holder, which keeps your gear out of the mud and away from potential damage. The exterior of the 17B also includes an outdoor shower with hot and cold water and LP quick connect.

Coleman 25B

Favorite Feature: Flush-floor Slide-out

For any family looking for an affordable travel trailer designed for the whole group, Coleman’s 25B is a standout choice. It balances an impressive sleeping capacity of ten in a travel trailer that’s under 30 feet and just over 5,000 pounds. This is the rear bunk floorplan you know and love, but the additional side-out expands this living area into a welcoming, comfortable living and dining space that offers a freestanding table and a convertible sofa. P

You’ll enjoy a 15,000 BTU AC unit bolstered by Keystone’s Blade High-Performance Air Flow System, which offers up to 20% more cooling power. We also see extended storage in the kitchen cabinets, bathroom, and private bedroom, where each side of the bed is equipped with wardrobe storage. Thanks to the sliding doors, it’s not that often you see a compact rear bunk floorplan like this that manages a bedroom that is this secluded.

On the outside, the 25B includes the new complete pass through storage, so you can pack for the whole crew without worry. On top of that, there’s an exterior door to the storage area under the bunks that makes for easy access when loading heavier items into the interior of your 25B. Other exterior features include a power tongue jack and a 16-foot awning, great for quick setups and comfortable campgrounds.

Coleman Lantern

The Coleman Lantern travel trailers offer a camping experience that’s simply a step above similarly built and priced RVs. Keystone set its priorities right, and you see it in some standout features like the expanded shower size, the king bed, the extra-large TVs, and the solid surface countertops. Plus, that refrigerator… The feature list is long, and these travel trailers promise to elevate your camping experience across the board.

Coleman Lantern 25REX

Favorite Feature: 65” Flatscreen Television

Let’s start with a Lantern for the couples—and it’s one of the most impressive entry-level couples’ campers we’ve seen. The primary feature? That rear entertainment center. From the 65” television to the rear-facing theater seats to the conveniently located 16 cubic foot refrigerator in the flush-floor slide-out, this camper is game-day ready. The kitchen, dining table, television, and theater seats are conveniently grouped together to make the ultimate hangout area. This is a really impressive layout that will change what you might think is possible with a camper of this size and price point.

The kitchen offers a remarkable set of features, including a large panoramic window, overhead strut-supported cabinets, a diffused LED light, a built-in knife block, and those coveted solid surface countertops. You’ll enjoy tons of storage throughout the kitchen and the surrounding area, including a catty-corner pantry and an extra-large dinette drawer on guides, providing easy access and preventing floor scuffing.

The 82” ceilings are part of the secret to the spacious bathroom and bedroom in the front of the Lantern 25REX. In the 30-inch by 40-inch shower, you have plenty of headroom to take full advantage of the Oxygenic Fury showerhead. In the bedroom, the taller ceilings allow for dual wardrobes, a raised shelf for storage, and plenty of headroom to watch TV in bed. Speaking of which, the 20REX comes with a standard king-sized 70-inch by 80-inch bed with compartment storage underneath.

Coleman Lantern 28BHS

Favorite Feature: Storage-Steps for the Top Bunk

For families looking for a bunkhouse travel trailer with plenty of storage and many features, the Lantern 28BHS brings a lot to the table, including extra sleeping capacity and residential upgrades. Featuring some of the same construction and design attributes as the 25REX—solid surface countertops, flush-floor slide-out, residential refrigerator, 82-inch ceilings—the 28BHS fits the needs of a family with double-over-double bunks, hidden storage, and a massive booth dinette. Let’s unpack a few of these features…

There’s surprising hidden storage in the 28BHS. For starters, we love the extra large steps up to the top bunk, which doubles as cubby storage for those staying in the bunks. Then, you get two large dinette drawers, a closet pantry, and hidden storage behind the television and fireplace! When traveling with a group, these details make a big difference and help you keep your campsite clean and organized.

The bedroom includes the standard 70-inch by 80-inch king-sized bed with storage underneath. This comfortable, spacious oasis is ideal when traveling with kids or guests You’ll also enjoy dual wardrobes and a deep shelf for additional storage.

Coleman Legacy

The Coleman Legacy includes the same key features as the Coleman Lantern, but this premium travel trailer line offers a more luxurious camping experience. Not only do these RVs have the benefits of fiberglass, but you’ll also get a front fiberglass cap with diffused LED lights, a Solar Flex package, a tempered glass door, and more interior upgraded features. So, if you want a step above the Lantern at a still-competitive price point, the Legacy is the RV for you. Check out the overall specs and a few of our favorite floor plans below.

Coleman Legacy 1905RB

Favorite Feature: 220-Watt Solar Flex Package

The 1905RB is a comfortable, easily towable rear bath travel trailer ideal for the couple on the go. There’s a lot to like here, including the bed space that we see upon walking in, complete with a king-size bed facing the television, which sits on a swivel so you can catch shows or movies from the bed or the theater seating in the living room.

This camper is compact, sure, but the open-concept design is thoughtful and convenient. There is a single slide-out, and once again, the 16 cubic foot refrigerator is located in the slide-out thanks to the flush floor and 6-foot clearance. In the kitchen, you get an L-shaped sink and countertop setup, complete with an undermounted sink and solid surface countertops. We appreciate the diffused LED lighting strips above that cast all in a more refined light.

If the Solar Flex package is our favorite feature on this compact luxury camper, the rear bathroom is a close second. The shower skylight is one of the largest in this class and offers tons of headroom. You’ll find good cabinet storage here, too, so you’ll never want more bathroom and shower space when traveling as a couple.

Coleman Legacy 2900BH

Favorite Feature: Slide-out Endwall Window

The Coleman Legacy 2900BH brings luxury and class to the family rear bunkhouse travel trailer. Offering more privacy than our previous Legacy model while keeping some of those feature favorites, it offers more sleeping capacity without sacrificing the open-concept, open-living design of the living room. We also like details like the slide-out end wall window, which offers additional natural light and gives the 2900BH a warm, inviting feel across the board.

With a spacious rear shower, a cohesive kitchen setup, a jackknife sofa, and roomy double-over-double bunks, there’s plenty of room for additional guests. We especially like the pivoting entertainment center, which provides some much-needed storage space when traveling with a bigger group.

Coleman Homestead

Spacious, affordable, luxury destination trailers complete the full travel trailer offering from Keystone Coleman with the Homestead lineup. Currently, they offer the Estate and Nova floor plans. For those looking for a more residential option for longer stays, the destination trailers from Coleman are a luxurious option at an attractive price.

Homestead Estate & Nova

Specs
  • Length: 42’11”
  • UVW: 12,800
  • GVWR: 15,800
  • CCC: 3,000

Favorite Feature: Extra Large Kitchen Island & Dining Table

Here is a first look at two options completely new to the Coleman RV lineup, the Homestead Nova and Estate destination trailers. These double-loft RVs are the perfect home base for large families or groups who want the comforts of home in a towable trailer. And what makes them so comfortable? In part, a 42,000 furnace, three separate ACs adding up to 37,000 BTUs of cooling power (equipped with Keystone’s Blade High-Performance Air Flow System), and a one-piece enclosed underbelly. Great for extended trips, these destination trailers cap-off the Coleman lineup with maximum space and amenities, including a telescoping television, residential appliances, and hardwood cabinets.

One of our favorite features on these destination models is the spacious rear bathroom. On both models, the rear bathroom offers an increased shower size of 30 inches by 48 inches, dual porcelain sinks with plenty of counterspace, and a closeted washer/dryer space with hookups on the Nova.

These are great campers for those who are ready to explore the benefits and potential of a destination trailer at a price you’ll love.

Where Can I Find the New Keystone Coleman RVs?

The Coleman RV lineup is sold exclusively through Camping World, and the good news is that Coleman is one of their most popular brands. That means Camping World has a widely available inventory of the Coleman campers we’ve discussed in this article across their more than 200 national locations.

If you’re interested in touring a Coleman, many of these models are already available at a Camping World near you. Contact your nearest dealership and ask which models you can see in person. You may also click on any of the links we’ve provided in this article to see what inventory is available nationwide, including some available through CW Direct.

Is Coleman Made by Keystone?

Coleman was previously manufactured by Dutchmen RV, but all 2025 Coleman campers are manufactured by Keystone RV, which was acquired by Thor Industries in 2001. Any Coleman camper before 2025 was manufactured by Dutchmen, which is also a subsidiary of Thor Industries.

Who Makes Coleman Campers?

Keystone RV is responsible for the design and production of the Coleman RV line. Currently, they manufacture travel trailers and destination trailers, and it has been rumored that a fifth wheel Coleman is in the works, possibly to be released in 2025.

I’m looking for small RV about 21ft, with full bath, furnance, waterless tank, 65 voltage. My credit score is only 603. I just paid off my shed of 14 by 90 and 12 by 50. I want to do some traveling. My funeral will be paid off in November. This will give an additional 1200
monthly. I would like to pay it off in 60 months. My email is pokijo53 @ yahoo.com. Thank you.

    • Hi Mary!

I’d highly recommend taking a closer look at the Keystone Coleman 17B and/or 17R. Here’s where you can find a location near you to see them in person: https://rv.campingworld.com/locations
