This month’s release of the first travel trailer prototypes to new Coleman brands marks an exciting development, heralding future releases of more Coleman towables now manufactured by Keystone RV.

Previewing the 2025 Keystone Coleman RVs
Keystone has introduced three Coleman travel trailer brands: Coleman, Coleman Lantern, and Coleman Legacy. Rumors still swirl around potential fifth wheels and destination trailers.
The Coleman line will include previous favorites like the 17B and 17R and new models, promising lightweight, affordable travel trailers that are compact and easy to tow. The Coleman Lantern series offers larger RVs with additional amenities. And Coleman Legacy is a new mid-range laminate fiberglass brand.

The New Lineup of Coleman Travel Trailers
This Keystone RV brand will feature its most compact and versatile models, perfect for those with smaller tow vehicles and first-time RVers. With six current models and plans for three more, the Coleman lineup offers something for solo travelers, couples, and small families.
From what we’ve seen, one of the most impressive feats has been Keystone’s ability to improve the best-selling 17B and 17R floorplans without impacting the price. These remain two of the most affordable campers for new RVers.
The popular 17B bunkhouse travel trailer and lightweight 17R rear bath travel trailer are back and better than ever. The interior height has been raised to 78 inches, providing added headroom throughout and more comfortable showers than were possible with previous model years.
They’ve also added a complete pass through storage compartment and swapped in a traditional RV furnace instead of the electric fireplace, allowing for more comfortable extended-season camping. They made these changes with feedback from owners and implemented them without impacting the incredibly affordable price at which these campers are listed nationwide.
Keystone Coleman 17B
The Coleman 17B is the ideal bunkhouse travel trailer for first-time RV families. The twin bunks, convertible dinette, and queen-sized bed allow you to comfortably sleep up to six people. With Keystone’s floorplan improvements, you get more interior storage and a more comfortable rear bathroom in a lightweight trailer that weighs less than 3,100 pounds and measures less than 21’ long.
Keystone Coleman 17R
The Coleman 17R offers a comfortable layout for solo travelers or couples. By turning the main queen bed by 90 degrees, Keystone made this floorplan much more comfortable for couples, as one person won’t have to climb over the other to get out of bed. The slightly longer floorplan provides more interior living space, allows the bathroom to span the trailer’s full width, and includes a vast wardrobe closet for clothing or linen storage.
In addition to the 17B and 17R, Keystone will expand the Coleman lineup to include several larger bunkhouse models.
Coleman Lantern: Improved Amenities Where It Counts
Keystone aims to continue the tradition of value and comfort that the Coleman Lantern lineup is known for. They’ll also improve upon previous model years with innovative new features and an entirely fresh look inside and out.
With every new Keystone Coleman Lantern travel trailer, you can expect these notable features:
- A 70” x 80” king-sized bed
- A larger 30” x 40” shower
- An elongated porcelain toilet bowl
- A massive TV (50-65”, depending on the floorplan)
- A larger 16 cubic-foot refrigerator
- Solid surface countertops
The 2025 Coleman Lantern RV lineup will boast at least four floorplans—and a fifth likely. Ranging from 29’11” to longer, you’ll have choices of rear entertainment, rear kitchen, and bunkhouse layouts to suit your needs.
Coleman Lantern 25REX
The Coleman Lantern 25REX is an entirely new rear entertainment floorplan. It features a 65” TV above the electric fireplace on the camper’s rear wall. The campside kitchen features a larger window for better campground views as you cook. Across the floorplan, the massive refrigerator and convertible dinette are set in the trailer’s single slide-out.
Coleman Lantern 28BHS
The Coleman Lantern 28BHS’s central super slide houses the convertible dinette and a sofa for entertainment viewing. Behind the 50″ TV and fireplace, Keystone added hidden shelves for added interior storage. They also set a wonderfully functional L-shaped kitchen across from the super slide, going above and beyond to add steps (instead of a ladder) for easier entry to the rear double bunks.

Coleman Legacy
The Keystone Coleman Legacy RVs will offer a new brand for Coleman lovers. The lineup will include five new floorplans featuring rear baths, rear kitchens, Murphy beds, and bunkhouses. The Coleman Legacy campers will boast upgraded features like power stabilizer jacks, roller shades, an extra-large skylight in the shower, and two 14” four-speed vent fans (in the kitchen and bedroom).
Coleman Destination Trailers
Later in the year, Keystone is rumored to introduce new destination trailers under the Coleman brand name. While there’s not much information yet, watch fall RV shows like Hershey to see when and where these exciting new Coleman campers are unveiled.
Coleman Archives
You’ll still find 2023 and 2024 Coleman RVs on dealership lots nationwide. Keystone will continue to house historical floorplan images, specifications, and features on its website for those previous model years. That makes it easy to compare archived Coleman campers with the latest innovative revivals of these classic campers.
