This year, RV manufacturers brought a lot of innovation to the table at America’s Largest RV Show, with no shortage of new floor plans and genre-bending designs. We saw fifth wheels turned into destination trailers, travel trailers built with patios, and shorter, more towable destination trailers, to name a few. Among the many new floor plans and layouts, we saw exciting variations in bunkhouse models and everything under the sun when it came to improved storage innovations. Interior/exterior cargo doors were prevalent, for example, and we saw several clever adaptations like deeper shelved storage behind the entertainment center and even a hidden cabinet behind a moveable range hood. In short, this was an impressive year with much to offer.
Destination trailers had a larger footprint at the 2024 Hershey show than what we saw in 2023. Some of our most interesting picks are destination trailers or RVs that show the obvious influence of these larger, more residential models. It was intriguing to see destination trailer representation from Campsite Reserve, Cedar Creek, Wildwood, Salem, Coleman Homestead, and Aurora, all in the front row of the aisles.
After speaking with manufacturers and researching new models and model year changes, we hit the show to explore over 33 acres of wall-to-wall RVs to bring you a list of what we consider to be the best RVs and some of our favorite RV innovations. So here are the top 2025 RVs, with several top choices of travel trailers, fifth wheels, toy haulers, destination trailers, and motorhomes.

ToggleLightweight Travel Trailers
Rockwood Geo-Pro G20BH
Specs
- Length: 21’2”
- UVW: 3,806 pounds
- GVWR: 4,480 pounds
The Geo-Pro G20BH (a new floorplan in 2025) caught my eye with its compact yet inviting bunkspace. For a camper of this size, bunks shouldn’t look this cozy and inviting. But if I’m in the market for a lightweight, compact towable, the G20BH will be high on my list. Plus, the bunks are made more functional with an exterior cargo door, doing a lot of work with a little.
Campsite Ultra 19KB
Specs
- Length: 22’4”
- UVW: 5,158 pounds
- GVWR: 7,600 pounds
We were impressed with the Campsite Ultra 19KB, a compact couple’s travel trailer with a smartly placed kitchen and sink, spacious rear bathroom, and uniquely placed cabinets in the slide-out where windows might normally go. Luckily, the 19KB gets plenty of natural light with large windows placed by the kitchen.
Travel Trailers
Grand Design Transcend 265BHT
Specs
- Length: 32’9”
- UVW: 6,700 pounds
- GVWR: 7,995 pounds
With the expansion of their Transcend line earlier this summer, we wanted to see the new Grand Design travel trailer models at the Hershey show, and the 265BHT’s unique approach to bunks was a standout feature. If you have young kids, this is one to keep in mind. Our family would love the stair bunk access and the open-concept floor plan that gives us just enough privacy.
Campsite Reserve Ultra 26TH
Specs
- Length: 30’9”
- UVW: 6,542 pounds
- GVWR: 7,782 pounds
The rear kitchen offers plenty of countertop space, surprisingly well-placed hanging hooks, abundant natural light from the large windows, a bar shelf, and the fridge on the catty corner, all making the kitchen feel secluded and uncramped. The rest of the camper feels spacious and open while still giving the primary bedroom enough privacy. There is a lot to like about Campsite Ultra in general, but the 26TH was one of the few floor plans that really stood out this year.
Salem/Wildwood 32VERANDA
Specs
- Length: 37’10”
- UVW: 8,993 pounds
- GVWR: 11,220 pounds
The Salem/Wildwood innovations this year were smart and vast, and perhaps toward the top of their accomplishments is the introduction of the VERANDA travel trailers. This particular 37-foot edition, the 32VERANDA, features the iconic extending patio deck, a modernized and redesigned interior, and a spacious open layout that just as easily hosts family dinners as the perfect couple’s adventures.
Keystone Cougar Half-Ton 25FKD
Specs
- Length: 29’11”
- UVW: 7,130 pounds
- GVWR: 8,800 pounds
Our introduction mentioned the many clever storage designs in this year’s batch of new RV models. The Cougar Half-Ton 25FKD front kitchen design includes a hidden walk-in pantry that puts this in the running for ‘Best in Show’. There is also tons of well-lit shelved storage behind the TV. Beyond that, we loved the front kitchen floor plan with a sink on the bar and windows above.
Keystone Coleman 25REX
Specs
- Length: 29’11”
- UVW: 6,250 pounds
- GVWR: 7,776 pounds
With the introduction of three brand new Keystone Coleman travel trailer lines (and a destination trailer line), we now have a whole new selection of elevated, tow-friendly travel trailers at affordable prices. I think everyone should be looking at the 25REX among those RVs as the ideal couple’s travel trailer, especially for those who like to have entertainment at the campsite. It’s the elephant in the room—the 65-inch flatscreen television—that folks are talking about. A dream for cinephiles.
Toy Haulers
Grand Design Momentum 24MAV
Specs
- Length: 29’11”
- UVW: 6,580 pounds
- GVWR: 11,000 pounds
If you can, please check out the unique Murphy bed design on the Grand Design Momentum 24MAV. With a few small adjustments, you go from a compact camper with a massive garage to a compact camper with a comfortable bedroom. This model is new in 2025 and could be a precursor to more of these versatile toy haulers that can store ample gear but don’t take up a ton of real estate.
Forest River Rogue Armored 26L140
Specs
- Length: 33’11”
- UVW: 8,578 pounds
- GVWR: 13,744 pounds
Start with the main attraction of this unique travel trailer toy hauler: the front bedroom. Yes, we’re talking about the ceiling-mounted projector and drop-down projector screen that faces the bed. Yes, we’re talking about the massive front cap window. We’re also talking about the modular cabinet and drawer storage design at the front cap—a super cool design you should see for yourself. But don’t miss the patio, the stowaway kitchen island on wheels, and the versatile garage space with a drop-down bunk.
Keystone Raptor 352
Specs
- Length: 39’
- UVW: 14,480 pounds
- GVWR: 17,555 pounds
Without the proper eye or introduction, you might miss the star of this show. The Keystone Raptor 352’s eye-catching kitchen island offers a front, wicker-like design that, on its own, is aesthetically pleasing. But open the side cupboard and remove the wooden decorative pieces, and you’ll find that these turn into sturdy foldable bar stools. This is a cool feature worth seeing for yourself, not to mention all the space, storage, and hang-out areas the Raptor 352 offers.
Fifth Wheels
Keystone Montana High Country 397FB
Specs
- Length: 43’
- UVW: 14,360 pounds
- GVWR: 16,800 pounds
We kick off our fifth wheel list with a luxury fifth wheel with a niche audience: full-timing families. While this RV will appeal to far more RVers than just the full-time family, the High Country 397FB’s best features are for the family with kids, featuring a front bunkhouse with a unique desk twist that’s great for roadschooling or remote work once you kick the kids outside for the day. We also love the large five-person seating in the living area and a large fold-up solid surface table top that’s perfect for family meals. This two bedroom RV gives everyone their due space. Other qualities we like? The dual vanity bedroom in the back.
Keystone Montana 3795FK
Specs
- Length: 39’11”
- UVW: 13,870 pounds
- GVWR: 17,070 pounds
It will be hard to top this Montana 3795FK front kitchen floor plan with a front window like this. Add the bar seating overlooking the living area and television, and you have one great floor plan. Let us also add the fact that Montana fifth wheels has partnered with LA-Z-Boy recliners to include these ultra-comfortable seats standard on all fifth wheels with theater seating. Look for the Exclusive LA-Z-Boy Furniture Package. Last but not least, don’t miss the spacious rear bathroom, complete with dual vanities and a spacious shower.
Forest River Impression 360MYR
Specs
- Length: 42’11”
- UVW: 12,338 pounds
- GVWR: 15,885 pounds
We were excited to scope out the Impression 360MYR fifth wheel based on the floor plan image alone. And it did not disappoint. The rear kitchen and dining area are hard to explain without seeing in person. Not only does that central table tie the space together—centralizing this as a hangout, food prep, and dining space—but then simply opening the entertainment center reveals an almost incomparable amount of hidden shelved storage. This is a super cool design worth seeing in person.
Forest River Wildcat 35FUN
Specs
- Length: 42’7”
- UVW: 11,913 pounds
- GVWR: 14,135 pounds
Let it be known that the tobacco vanilla candle in the neighboring Wildcat 402BEDS was the best RV scent of choice for the entire 2024 show. But the Wildcat 35FUN won our favorite fifth wheel floor plan. The key highlights include a second entry at the spacious rear bathroom—giving the primary bedroom independent access—and the unique front bunk room, which offers desk space and a perfect children’s lair.
Jayco Eagle HT 31QCD
Specs
- Length: 36’8”
- UVW: 9,817 pounds
- GVWR: 11,700 pounds
The large U-shaped dinette is a great introduction to the open and spacious Jayco Eagle HT 31QCD. This camper is built for a big group, and we were taken by the unique, spacious rear bunk room, the open-concept kitchen and living area, the outdoor kitchen, and the privacy of the primary bedroom. An all-around great fifth wheel for families, this is a welcomed new floor plan for 2025 from Jayco.
Destination Trailers
Campsite Reserve 39JD
Specs
- Length: 43’4”
- UVW: 12,380 pounds
- GVWR: 13,400 pounds
The extra-large Campsite Reserve 39JD destination trailer offers a fresh approach to this RV category with a window-forward design, spacious living area, and a single long loft sleeping area with a primary bedroom below. This is a bit of a change-up from many of the dual loft designs we’ve seen recently, but one that works in the favor of the 39JD; the rear glass door and windows offer excellent views and abundant natural light.
We also saw cool storage innovations in the 39JD, with drawers built into the loft stairs, a huge shelved pantry area behind the entertainment center, and some really handy cabinets on the very far side of the loft, great for keeping that area organized with kids.
Cedar Creek Cottage 41FWC
Specs
- Length: 42’6”
- UVW: 14,314 pounds
- GVWR: 20,820 pounds
While I had reservations about the faux-wood paneling design of the albeit captivating exterior of the Cedar Creek Cottage 41FWC, there’s just no arguing with its modern, clean, and functional interior layout and design once inside. Spiral staircases in other destination trailers present a bit of a shin gauntlet, whereas I was happy with the even-keeled approach to the rear loft in this destination trailer-style fifth wheel. I also loved the pull-out pantry cupboards. No qualms here with the 41FWC.
Wildwood Heritage Glen ROOST43
Specs
- Length: 43’9”
- UVW: 15,364 pounds
- GVWR: 18,115 pounds
New fifth wheel destination trailers like the ROOST43 offer a unique solution to the typical problem many RVers face when towing traditional destination trailers. With towing made easier with the fifth wheel hitch, the ROOST43 leans into the extra space now possible, and this design is great for families or those who want to travel with guests and invite more once you arrive. Sleeping capacity is a big win on this camper—as is luxury—and the living spaces accommodate the extra visitors with long couches, and the basement storage with a pull-out tray fits the luggage. You’ll want to see this one in person when you have a chance.
CrossRoads Hampton 395BAM
Specs
- Length: 42’11”
- UVW: 12,282 pounds
- GVWR: 13,400 pounds
In my mind, a risk of the destination trailer category is to fall back on the classic loft design and not explore everything else tall ceilings and expanded square footage can offer. CrossRoads Hampton 395BAM made our list for doing the opposite. For example, check out its appallingly large, cycloptic front bay window that, when positioned correctly, is sure to provide some incredible views. This unique take on the destination trailer is for the couples out there who want a big camper with enough space for things like a full washer and dryer area.
Motorhomes
Thor Eddie Bauer 20EB
Specs
- Length: 21’1”
- GVWR: 9,350 pounds
Here’s a brand new addition to the Eddie Bauer motorized segment. This 20EB is a two-person Class B built on the Ram ProMaster with a modular rear that offers lots of versatile space. We liked the flip-up table accessible from the exterior which only adds to the open feel of this camper van. Another cool feature? Check out the spacious rear shower which is a significant upgrade to most washrooms you get from the Class B segment.
Airstream Interstate 19X LE Outland Edition
Specs
- Length: 20’1”
- GVWR: 9,050 pounds
If you want exclusivity, check out Airstream’s Interstate 19X LE Outland Edition, with only 30 in production. See one of these in person, and there’s much to take in: colors, lights, speakers. But the unique mounted and motorized Dometic cooler caught our eye and won us over. With customizable underbelly lighting and a premium audio system, this Airstream appears to be part nightclub and part outdoor escape. But do check out the three position platform bed if you get the opportunity.
Thor Eddie Bauer 26EB
Specs
- Length: 27’1”
- GVWR: 14,500 pounds
In our introduction, I mentioned the prevalence of exterior cargo doors on many of our favorite RV designs. The Thor Eddie Bauer 26EB is no exception. A solid Class C option for families on its own, the rear cargo door of the 26EB makes life on the road trip a bit more convenient and potentially more interesting at the campsite, especially for the kids coming in and out.
Coachmen Freelander 26MBF
Specs
- Length: 28’6″
- GVWR: 14,500 pounds
The clean simplicity of the Coachmen Freelander 26MBF appeals to those who want a simple Class C that offers plenty of daytime hangout spots but quickly transitions to a bedroom—which is the whole point of a Murphy bed design. I’m an especially big fan of that u-shaped dinette with an elevated footrest around the table that promises many a card-game night. With an impressive outdoor kitchen to boot? Fun times are ahead in the Freelander 26MBF.
Georgetown 5 Series 36F5
Specs
- Length: 39’7”
- GVWR: 24,000 pounds
The versatile closeted bunk space on the Georgetown 5 Series 36F5 suits more than kids—this is a coach that you’d have no trouble bringing along a couple of friends. This is an elegant Class A that blends fashion and function. The dark wood finish on the coach we toured was especially luxurious without overwhelming.
Coachmen Euro 25EU
Specs
- Length: 28’4”
- GVWR: 16,000 pounds
We wrap up our list with a compact, unconventional Class A that turned many heads with its unique exterior and followed through with a surprisingly elegant, comfortable interior. For starters, the rear slide-out in the Euro 25EU allows for a king-sized bed in this 28-foot Class A. Secondly, we liked the family style living area featuring two buckle-ready seats for travel. For those looking for a little less in a Class A motorhome, this small option should make your list to explore.

Do not see Lance listed anywhere. What’s up?? M
Hi There!
Were there any specific Lance RVs you’re looking for information on? We love Lance, but with so much ground to cover in Hershey, they just didn’t quite make our list this year!
