If you’ve spent a lot of time camping with your family, you know that sharing a bathroom can be a pain. An RV with two bathrooms can give everyone more space and privacy—what a dream!

While RVs with two bathrooms may be a rare find, the industry does offer models with this feature, primarily in fifth wheels. Let’s take a look at eight models that should be on your list to check out, whether you desire more family privacy or a guest bath for entertaining.

What are the Benefits of an RV with Two Bathrooms?

RV manufacturers pack many living features into a small space, which is why a second bathroom is such a luxury. However, it’s worth the effort to find a model with an extra restroom for several reasons.

First, an RV with two bathrooms offers more privacy. If you’re a parent, you’ve probably had the experience of being in the shower and hearing the familiar knocks of kids outside yelling your name:  “Mom, Mom, MOM!!” or “Dad, Dad, DAD!!” A second bathroom gives the kids (and other family members) their own space. No more sharing!

Some RVs with two bathrooms have separate holding tanks for each, which may give you more tank space. Plus, you won’t have as tight of a schedule for evening or morning showers. Both of these benefits are especially helpful if you have a large family or overnight guests.

RVs with two bathrooms are also nice for entertaining. You might know the familiar feeling of worrying about whether the bathroom is clean enough for company. Having a guest bath means you can keep one nice and clean for guests while putting the other through its paces.

FAQs About RV Trailers with 2 Bathrooms

You may have questions about RVs with 2 bathrooms, or RV bathrooms in general. Check out these FAQs:

Are there RV trailers with 2 bathrooms that aren’t fifth wheels?

Yes, several manufacturers offer toy haulers, travel trailers, and destination trailers with two bathrooms. You’ll usually find these in longer bunkhouse floorplans. RVs with two bedrooms and two bathrooms are also available. Check out these models available at Camping World to see the wide array of options.

Is there such a thing as a two-bathroom motorhome?

Yes, many Class A motor coaches offer two bathrooms, often a full and half bath. While it is less common, some Class Cs have two bathrooms. You are unlikely to find a Class B van with two bathrooms. Check out these options.

What is the smallest RV camper with a bathroom?

If you’re looking for the smallest RV with a bathroom, consider a teardrop, small camper, or Class B van, which comes in a range of floorplans. While not all have bathrooms, many do. If you purchase an RV without a bathroom, consider a portable camping toilet.

What is the smallest RV that has a shower?

The smallest RVs with showers are usually teardrops or Class B vans. Sometimes, these offer wet baths, in which the entire bathroom functions as a shower. Having less living space may be worthwhile for the convenience of a bathroom in your RV.

It is rare to find motorhomes with two bedrooms. However, they do exist! While many motorhomes have one private bedroom with a cabover bunk adding additional sleeping space, a handful of Class A models have a second bedroom.
