ToggleWhat Are the Best Fifth Wheel Toy Haulers?
We selected our best fifth wheel toy haulers based on garage size, luxury living amenities, and floor plan versatility.
Forest River Wolf Pack 350PACK15
Specs
- Length: 45’
- Dry Weight: 12,263 pounds
- Cargo Capacity: 4,697 pounds
- Garage Length: 15’
- Sleeping Capacity: Up to 6
The garage in the Wolf Pack 350PACK15 is the definition of open-concept. While the traditional toy hauler garage sports flip-up sofas and a drop-down bed, this Forest River floor plan offers neither, opting for open space, a flip-up desk with stools, and an optional Murphy bed system.
Sliding glass doors on the camp side easily open onto a temporary deck, so this toy hauler is just as well-equipped for weekend boondocking as it is for extended-season living. A loft above the garage adds storage space or additional sleeping capacity.
The rest of the layout features a mid-ship kitchen and living area with a single slide-out, theater seating, extra-large pantry, and entertainment center with a TV above an electric fireplace. The front bedroom offers an RV king bed, dual nightstands, and a large wardrobe closet with washer-dryer prep.
Jayco Seismic 395

Images by Camping World
Specs
- Length: 45’8”
- Dry Weight: 3,430 pounds
- Cargo Capacity: 5,190 pounds
- Garage Length: 14’
- Sleeping Capacity: Up to 8
Easily one of the best triple-axle toy haulers, the Jayco Seismic 395 impresses from the front walk-in closet to the party deck with rear steps. Starting in the 14-foot rear garage, convertible sofas and a removable cargo table create a cozy dining space that easily converts to a queen bed.
The garage is prepped for a TV and has washer-dryer hookups below the loft, but one of our favorite options on this 5th wheel toy hauler is the garage half bath with retractable walls. A secondary entry door allows garage dwellers to enjoy their privacy. It also makes it easy to host gatherings without guests entering the main part of your camper.
Theater seating and an L-shaped sofa with a tri-fold sectional round out the seating in the living area, with the option to convert the sofa to another bed. But your primary bedroom offers all the solitude you need in a larger toy hauler, complete with a 72” x 80” bed in a slide-out, a walk-in primary closet, and a secondary wardrobe with washer-dryer prep. Yes, your washer-dryer can go in the bedroom or garage—dealer’s choice.
Keystone Carbon 360

Images by Camping World
Specs
- Length: 39’11”
- Dry Weight: 13,095 pounds
- Cargo Capacity: 4,145 pounds
- Garage Length: 13’
- Sleeping Capacity: Up to 7
Although the Carbon 360 has a slightly shorter garage, it makes up for it with added versatility and sleeping capacity. The garage easily sleeps up to four with dual opposing sofas that convert to a bed and a secondary drop-down bed with electric controls. But there’s also a loft with a twin bed for one more if you don’t use that space for storage.
The central living area and kitchen sport a U-shaped kitchen with a raised bar and flip-up seats. That bartop seating is comfortable for extra guest seating or as a remote workspace. There are still two double-seat sofas in the living area, both of which have views of the smart LED TV on the campside wall.
This fifth wheel toy hauler only has a single bathroom but offers a larger-than-average 40” x 28” shower. In the primary bedroom, dual bedside wardrobes and nightstands flank the bed, and both offer built-in wireless charging. Plus, there’s a wardrobe in a slide-out with hanging and drawer storage.
Heartland Cyclone 4006

Specs
- Length: 45’4.25”
- Dry Weight: 16,460 pounds
- Cargo Capacity: 4,492 pounds
- Garage Length: 13’
- Sleeping Capacity: Up to 8
The Heartland Cyclone 4006 floor plan offers a 13-foot garage packed with utility and comfort: an electric drop-down queen bed, split bench seats that convert to another bed, a loft for more sleeping or storage, a half bath, and washer-dryer prep. The rear ramp door is built for rugged, three-season use and easily converts to a patio with built-in steps.
This pick for the best fifth wheel toy hauler features a massive 60-gallon fuel tank, which makes more motorized adventures possible with fewer trips back to town for gas refills. The exterior includes an outdoor mini fridge and a 25” residential grill-griddle combo on a sliding tray.
I like this layout because the central living area offers three sofa-style seats. So while the only dinette for indoor meals is in the garage, it provides one of the most comfortable living areas for movie nights or watching your favorite sports. But we can’t forget to mention the main bedroom, which has a tilting king bed, a huge front closet with mirrored sliding doors, and private access to the main bathroom.
Forest River Wolf Pack 365PACK15.5
Specs
- Length: 44’
- Dry Weight: 12,078 pounds
- Cargo Capacity: 4,832 pounds
- Garage Length: 15’6”
- Sleeping Capacity: Up to 7
Like its smaller sister model, the Wolf Pack 365PACK15.5 makes our list of the best fifth wheel toy haulers for thinking outside the traditional toy hauler box. With a larger garage, this floor plan offers a flip-up desk with stool seating opposite campside sliding glass doors. A quick set bed system pulls down from the roof for extra sleeping space.
The garage offers a half bath concealed behind folding walls that open completely, allowing you to maximize storage space in transit. They even included an “airplane-style” fold-down sink and an electric fireplace below the loft, which rounds out the garage by offering additional sleeping or storage space.
The RV king bedroom offers the same features as the 350PACK15, but the living rooms differ. U-shaped countertops—with a flip-up extension—give you ample room for meal prep and portable kitchen appliances. That makes room for a bartop below a campside window, with a larger three-seat sofa in a slide-out across the living space.
Keystone Fuzion 440

Images by Camping World
Specs
- Length: 45’11”
- Dry Weight: 17,110 pounds
- Cargo Capacity: 3,890 pounds
- Garage Length: 14’
- Sleeping Capacity: Up to 9
Our list of the best 5th wheel toy haulers wouldn’t be complete without one that has a powered rear ramp door. But that’s not the only impressive feature in the Fuzion 440. The garage becomes an ideal kids’ suite with dual-opposing sofas and an upper queen bed. Plus, there’s a bunk mat in the loft if you don’t need that space for storage.
The kitchen features a residential fridge for family-sized storage and a four-burner range for cooking larger meals. In the living area, you’ll find an L-shaped sofa, theater seating, and a striking floor-to-ceiling window beside the dinette..
The only downside might be a single bathroom, but it offers a sizeable shower and a pull-out linen closet to maximize bathroom storage. The front primary bedroom has a king bed in a slide-out, a huge front closet, a dresser with hidden storage, and a secondary wardrobe with washer and dryer hookups.
Grand Design Momentum M-Class 395MS

Specs
- Length: 44’2”
- Dry Weight: 15,600 pounds
- Cargo Capacity: 6,900 pounds
- Garage Length: 14’
- Sleeping Capacity: Up to 8
Like the Cyclone 4006, one of the most impressive garage features in the Momentum M-Class 395MS is the 60-gallon fuel tank for easy refills. Inside the garage ramp door, you’ll find convenient dovetail storage for straps, jacks, and other essential tools.
The entire garage features an adjustable tie-down system, allowing you to customize your anchor points for optimal security. The garage features flip-up sofas, an upper LiftSuite bed system, and a small overhead loft when the toys are unloaded. All combined, that allows you to comfortably sleep up to five in the garage alone.
The other optional sleeping space is the living room L-sofa, which also features three reclining seats for watching shows on the entertainment center. The main living area also has a freestanding dinette and theater seating—or an optional super sofa. The front bedroom has dual bathroom access, a 60” x 80” queen bed, and an extra slide-out for increased wardrobe storage.
Jayco Seismic 413

Specs
- Length: 46’1”
- Dry Weight: 15,185 pounds
- Cargo Capacity: 5,215 pounds
- Garage Length: 14’
- Sleeping Capacity: Up to 6
As the largest three-axle toy hauler in this Jayco lineup, the Seismic 413 features two exterior party decks. The garage’s ramp door converts to a deck with rear steps, but an additional side patio measures 78” x 108”. A sliding door off the main living area provides access to that patio, which changes the game for indoor-outdoor RV living.
The garage’s convertible sofas and removable table offer your primary dining space. Or, bring a folding table to set up outdoor dining on either patio. That allows you to leave the sofas converted to a queen bed for a second bedroom, complete with a half bath. There’s even a loft above the garage for added storage or sleeping space.
The primary bedroom offers a king bed, private access to the main bathroom, and a wardrobe slide-out with a split design—allowing you to access additional storage from a section even if the bedroom door is closed. With residential kitchen appliances, an oversized 30” x 54” shower, and a massive four-seat sofa across from the entertainment center, “luxury” gets a new meaning with one of Jayco’s best fifth wheel toy haulers.

I have a toyhauler trailer (Pacific Coachworks 280FS) but am looking for a 5th wheel toyhauler without any slide outs and not huge. More in the 28-30 foot with some type of ramp door assist as I am older and have difficulty closing the ramp door by myself. Any suggestions?
We all have different opinions, but my favorite is the Cyclone 3800 because it has everything the raptor 425TS has, but more seating and the glass doors going into the garage. Love those! Too bad they don’t make it any more.
Have you considered the Spartan 3210?
Did you consider the Grand Design 376TH?
You claim these to be the 5 best, but how are they ranked for insulation values and 4 season use??
Robert, head into your local Camping World dealership. They will be able to show you plenty of options.
They should have and also the Forest River XLR’s
Keystone’s Montana has a long list of four-season features. Not sure what you’re looking for in terms of features, but my guess is that what’s offered would satisfy.
I haven’t found a good four season unit until I got my Northwood AF. I wanted a toy hauler but I use mine year-round so need to just haul my toys by other means.
