Keystone Debuts Montana High Country 391TB: Two Beds, Two Full Baths

A longtime leader in luxury fifth wheels, Keystone RV’s all-new 2027 Montana High Country 391TB floor plan combines the residential comforts of their luxury line with a true two-bedroom, two-bathroom layout, ideal for large families or those traveling with company.

Dual Sanctuaries

The standout feature of the 391TB is its configuration: two dedicated bedrooms, each with a full bathroom nearby. While many competing models offer a half-bath, the 391TB provides two complete washrooms with walk-in showers, linen storage, a porcelain toilet, and a decorative seamless vanity in each.

This rear bathroom strategically includes a dedicated exterior entrance. This “mudroom” style entry allows guests or children to use the facilities directly from the campsite without tracking dirt through the main living area. With a king bed, reading lights, bedside outlets, TV prep, and excellent wardrobe storage in each bedroom, the only choice is which one becomes your primary!

The Upper Loft

Perhaps the most visually striking innovation in the Montana High Country 391TB is the rolling “Beauty-and-the-Beast” ladder. Reminiscent of a classic library, this ladder glides to your ideal location to access the massive three-bed loft.

Unlike cramped lofts found in older fifth wheels, this space boasts 35 inches of floor-to-ceiling height, allowing children to sit up comfortably. The loft is equipped with TV hookups for gaming, dual opposing windows for cross-ventilation, sleeping space for 3-4 little ones, and a sliding door that provides a new level of privacy compared to most 5th wheels with loft floor plans.

Versatile Living, Dining, and Cooking Area

The dining and living areas focus on multi-purpose utility. The transforming “deskette” offers the ideal space for remote work — until you’re ready to eat. Then, it extends and pairs with a set of four freestanding chairs to create a full dining setup.

The living room is rounded out by a 75” pull-out sofa, dual theater seats, and a decorative entertainment wall with a built-in fireplace.

The U-shaped kitchen is a chef’s dream, featuring:

  • Solid surface countertops with a full-height backsplash.
  • Accent lighting beneath the cabinetry.
  • A workstation sink and a massive residential refrigerator.
  • Innovative trash management combining a dedicated trash can cabinet beneath the sink with a drop-through “porthole” — allowing you to customize your trash/recycling setup and access whatever’s collected beneath the “porthole” directly from outside.

Exterior Performance and Comfort

Despite clocking in at nearly 44 feet, the 391TB handles smoothly, thanks to the 8,000-pound Curt® slipper roller axle suspension, the Helux™ pin box, and H-rated tires. To maximize the outdoor experience, Keystone added the Lippert® Titan™ touchscreen leveling system, an innovative water management system with shut-offs for every fixture, and three power awnings, providing nearly total coverage across the entire camp-side.

The exterior kitchen serves as the hub for outdoor entertaining, complete with a beverage fridge, TV, and a propane quick connect for grilling. And the outside shower comes with a quick hookup hose for easy foot, paw, or gear rinses after your adventures.

Climate Control

To ensure the 44-foot coach stays comfortable in any climate, Keystone has equipped the 391TB with two standard A/C units and pre-wiring to add a third. A 35K BTU furnace and 60K BTU tankless water heater handle ducted heat and hot water, while a decorative fireplace heater provides supplemental warmth in the living area.

For extended-season capability, the Four Season Living package on the Montana High Country is tested and approved for 0 usage. Here are some additional features that make this new 5th wheel adaptable to more extreme temperatures:

  • Reflective foil insulation added to the front cap
  • Astrofoil insulation added to the slide floors and underbelly
  • An enclosed underbelly
  • Forced air heat to the underbelly, convenience center, and dump valves
  • 12-volt heating pads on the holding tanks

Dual-pane frameless windows are an optional upgrade for added climate protection. Plus, an optional 5,500-watt generator can be added for expanded off-grid capability.
