FAQ
From the materials to the stitching, every component of our flags is sourced and produced in the United States. We take pride in displaying high-quality, hand-sewn flags that reflect our country’s values and heritage.
Camping World flags are made by Symonds Flags & Poles, a Texas-based company led by CEO Steve Symonds. The business was founded by his grandfather in 1969 and is now headquartered in Irving, Texas, just outside of Dallas. The company also produces and installs the accompanying flagpoles.
Our flagpoles are engineered to withstand up to 100 mph winds with the flag attached. They’re connected with stainless steel hardware and reinforced cables rated for 3,500 pounds of pressure. The flags are connected to the flag pole in 11 different locations to ensure a secure connection.
Every Camping World flag is handmade. No machine can handle the scale and stitching required, so every flag is hand-sewn by skilled workers. Each flag is a detailed, labor-intensive work of craftsmanship.
We bring flags down, safely storing them during severe weather, and consistently perform examinations for rips and tears. In many instances, flag responsibilities are designated to a specific employee to ensure each location honors the flag’s upkeep.
