This week’s NHTSA RV Recall updates hit our desk yesterday. Here’s a quick recap, along with some next steps for RV owners.
Forest River Recalls
The Cargo Carrying Capacity (CCC) label on certain 2025-2026 Entourage motorhomes may incorrectly state 7 seat belted positions, when the motorhome has 8 positions, which can allow the motorhome to be overloaded. An incorrect Cargo Carrying Capacity may cause an operator to overload the vehicle, leading to a crash.
As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 120, “Wheels and Rims-Other than Passenger Cars.”
Dealers will remove one of the seat belts, free of charge. Notification letters should be mailed to owners by March 19th, 2026.

The insulation on the wires on certain 2026 2026 Impression fifth wheel recreational trailers may have been improperly removed, exposing conductors. Exposed conductors may cause electrical arcing, increasing the risk of a fire.
Dealers should inspect and correct the wiring as necessary, free of charge. Notification letters should be mailed to owners by March 17th, 2026.
Learn more under recall #83-2039.
The distribution panel on certain 2026 Dynamax Europa and Grand Sport GT motorhomes may not be properly bonded to the chassis ground, allowing a conductor to energize the chassis. An energized chassis increases the risk of injury and electrocution.
Dealers should inspect and add a chassis bonding wire as necessary, free of charge. Notification letters should be mailed to owners by April 14th, 2026.

Tiffin Motorhomes Recalls
The Cargo Carrying Capacity (CCC) label on certain GT1, GH1, and 2026 GH2 motorhomes lists an incorrect number of seatbelt-equipped seating positions, potentially leaving unbelted passengers. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 110, “Tire Selection and Rims.”
According to the NHTSA, as additional options were added to the floor plans, the database for printing the OCCC safety belt-equipped seating capacity was not updated. If passengers in a motorhome were not wearing seatbelts, this could lead to injuries.
For affected owners, Tiffin will mail corrected labels, free of charge. Notification letters should be mailed, and VINs associated with this recall become searchable via the NHTSA recall search tool beginning on May 15th, 2026.

Pebble Mobility Recalls
The adhesive securing the solar panels to certain 2026 Flow recreational trailers may fail, causing the solar panel to detach. These E-Series chassis are used by select motorhome manufacturers.
According to the NHTSA, improperly applied adhesive during the Pebble Flow assembly process may have resulted in an improper bond between the rooftop and one or more solar panels. As a result, the adhesive may fail on affected vehicles, allowing one or more solar panels to delaminate and separate from the roof, especially at highway speeds. A solar panel that separates from the vehicle while in transit can become a road hazard, increasing the risk of injury or collision for following motorists or other road users.
Owner notification letters were mailed on March 19, 2026. Pebble will inspect and properly secure the solar panels as necessary, free of charge.

Aluminum Trailer Company (ATC) Recalls
The generator exhaust on certain 2023-2025 PL700 and 2024-2026 PL750 recreational trailers is vented directly under the slide-out bedroom, allowing carbon monoxide to enter the cabin. Generator exhaust fumes could enter the RV’s bedroom, leading to carbon monoxide intrusion.
According to the NHTSA, dealers will reroute the exhaust and install an additional carbon monoxide detector, free of charge. Owners will be notified by mail by April 20th, 2026.

Escape Trailer Industries Recalls
The spare tire carrier on certain 2025 E17, E19, E21, and E5.0 recreational trailers may have incorrect welding, causing the carrier to detach from the trailer during transit. A detached carrier can become a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
Owners will be notified by mail starting in March 2026, and VINs involved in this recall became searchable on the NHTSA recall site on March 9th, 2026. According to the NHTSA, dealers will replace the spare tire carriers, free of charge.
