This week’s NHTSA Recall updates hit our desk yesterday. Here’s a quick recap, along with some next steps for RV owners.
Winnebago Recalls
The rear roof cap aerofence trim may become loose and detach during transit on certain 2020-2023 View and Navion motorhomes. If this trim detaches, it becomes a significant road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash or injury. According to the NHTSA, there is a potential that the adhesive used to secure the aerofence was applied incorrectly, and/or that the surface was not properly prepared before adhesive application.
The remedy for this recall is under development. Notification letters should be mailed to owners by April 17th, 2026.

Prevost Recalls
The passenger seat anchors may have been improperly installed on certain 2025-2026 X3-45 commuter buses. If so, these anchors may not adequately restrain the seat occupant, increasing the risk of injury during a crash. This X3-45 chassis is used by select luxury motorhome manufacturers.
According to the NHTSA, Prevost would inspect and reinstall the seat anchor free of charge, as necessary. The manufacturer should mail notification letters by April 8th, 2026, and the VIN numbers for vehicles involved in this recall should be searchable via the NHTSA Recall tool starting on February 27th, 2026.
