Grand Design Recalls
The water heater tank heating pad on certain 2026 Solitude and Lineage RVs equipped with a ThermaHeat Tank pad may experience high resistance and fail, posing a significant fire risk. This recall also carries a ‘Do Not Drive Warning’.
According to the NHTSA, the remedy for this issue is still under development, but the manufacturer is scheduled to mail notification letters to owners by March 11th, 2026.

The seat base on the driver and front passenger seat on select 2025-2026 Lineage motorhomes may have been improperly tightened, causing the base to come loose and increasing the risk of injury in the event of a crash. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 207, “Seating Systems.”
According to the NHTSA, dealers should inspect and tighten the seat base if needed, free of charge. The manufacturer is slated to mail notification letters to owners by March 11th, 2026.
