For nearly 60 years, Camping World has made RV ownership and the outdoor lifestyle safe, fun, and easy.

This week’s NHTSA Recall updates hit our desk yesterday. Here’s a quick recap, along with some next steps for RV owners.

Forest River Recalls

  • 7-way connectors on certain 2026 Cascade, Cherokee, and Campsite Reserve trailers may have been incorrectly wired to a breaker without over-current protection. Recall #95-2019. This could affect electric brakes and brake/running lights.
  • The body panel joint adhesive on select 2026 Collins Bus Transit and school buses may have been applied to the incorrect location, causing the panels to separate. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 221, “School Bus Body Joint Strength.” Recalls #551-2023 and #551-2021.

Grand Design Recalls

  • The adhesive securing the solar panels to the roof on certain 2025 and 2026 Lineage RVs may fail, allowing the solar panel to detach. Recall #M910053.
  • The U-bolt on select 2021-2024 Momentum and 2022-2024 Solitude fifth wheels may become loose due to inadequate preload and preload losses, causing the axle to move out of position. Recall #910054.

Brinkley Recalls

  • Shore power inlet lugs on select Model Z travel trailers may have been improperly tightened. Recall #REC-2601. This could cause the inlet to become loose or impact electrical wiring.

Keystone Recalls

  • The bed brackets on certain 2026 Coleman travel trailers may not be secured to a stud, potentially causing the bed to fall unexpectedly. Recall #26-479.
